    Job Description:

    Opportunity for an experienced Construction Field Manager to support in one or more operational areas of each construction project. A Construction Field Supervisor’s main goal is to manage a team of employees and third party contractors on the jobsite, providing constant feedback. Responsabilities may include:

    • Supervise construction activities, including determining work schedule and actual hours worked, coordinate assigned work with different vendors and providers to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, permits, approved plans, and schedule.
    • Assist in resolving construction issues (poor performance, schedule slippage, subcontractor default, interferences, among others) as required.
    • Be the bridge between subcontractors, General Contractor, municipal inspector, finance, and other departments.
    • Manage homebuilding construction throughout all the phases.
    • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
    • Approve all trade partner invoices upon satisfactory completion of the job, validating completion and calling out required inspections.
    • Assist the Superintendent with monitoring of the project schedule and work to maintain and update a comprehensive schedule. Meet regularly with subcontractors to discuss and progress obstacles and construction challenges.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Combination of edication, technical training, and experience required.
    • Three + years of previous residential or commercial construction experience.
    • General knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and safety procedures.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of homebuilding and construction systems.
    • Knowledge of Florida Building Code.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
    • General computer skills including, but not limited to, email, scheduling and procurement software, Office applications.
    • Excellent organization skills.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills – English and Spanish are definitely a plus.

    Work Location:

    • Main office in Orlando.
    • Job Sites in Central Florida.

    Assistant Cost Control Manager

    Job Description:

    Opportunity for an Assistant Cost Control Manager to help managing the entire bid process, from bid set-up to negotiation, bid award, and contract execution with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and all providers. Responsabilities may include:

    • Solicit bids and maintain communication with a network of contractors and vendors.
    • Provide project information and clarify contractors and vendors questions to formulate bids.
    • Negotiate bid values.
    • Ensure vendor compliance against code and insurance requirements.
    • Manage all contract documents, verify accuracy and completeness of all documents, coordinate all paperwork for vendors.
    • Oversee cost control routines on jobs to maintain and improve job budgets to achieve and exceed expected profit.
    • Draft and develop preliminary budgets and schedules.
    • Compile and manage a comprehensive analysis of project cost data.
    • Work with the project management team to follow up on bids and budgets.
    • Show creativity and resourcefullness to gain better pricing from contractors and vendor.
    • Process purchase orders, service orders, and change orders.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Combination of edication, technical training, and experience required.
    • Three + years of previous residential or commercial construction bidding experience.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
    • Familiarity with the construction industry terminology.
    • General computer skills including, but not limited to, email, scheduling and procurement software, Office applications.
    • Excellent organization skills.
    • Excellent negotiation, financial planning, budgeting, and analytical skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills – English and Spanish are definitely a plus.
